COVID 19 Emergency Care

In response to the evolving COVID-19 Pandemic, for the continued safety and well-being of our patients and staff, Northumberland Optometry Center is temporarily closed until further notice. We will be open to normal service once the mandatory closure of non essential services is lifted in Ontario, or there is a different directive from Ontario Health. At present, Northumberland Optometry Center does not have adequate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) to see patients safely. In case of an ocular emergency, please call the Optometry Clinic listed below. If you have non urgent concerns or questions, please email our practice at [email protected] and one of the doctors will get back to you.

DO YOU HAVE a cough, OR fever, OR shortness of breath
AND have traveled OUTSIDE OF CANADA in the last 14 days, or have been exposed to anyone who has traveled OUTSIDE OF CANADA in the last 14 days:
- If any of the ABOVE APPLY to you, please make your way to your residence, contact your MD by phone, stay indoors and contact Telehealth Ontario at 1-866-797-0000 or contact the local health unit for advice.
- If you DO NOT have any symptoms and have traveled outside Canada or been in contact with anyone who has traveled outside Canada in the last 14 days, please make your way to your residence, you need to self-quarantine for 14 days.
