Dr. Albert J. Brisson
Born in Saint Front, Saskatchewan, he graduated with the degree of Optometric Doctor (O.D.) from the College of Optometry of Ontario in 1965. After graduation he practiced in B.C. and in 1984 moved to Ontario and joined an associate practice in New Hamburg, Ontario. He established private practice in Cobourg in September 1988 and Port Hope in September 1989.He has a special interest in Low Vision besides general Optometry. He has been a member of the Canadian Optometric Association and the B.C. Optometric Association since 1965. He has been a member of the Ontario Association of Optometrist since 1984. He has two daughters, Liane and Carmen, and five grandchildren.

Dr. Shabbir A. Ghor
Born in Tanzania, East Africa, he moved to Canada in 1976. He graduated from the School of Optometry, University of Waterloo with a degree of Optometric Doctor (O.D.) in 1992. After graduation he settled in Cobourg, in partnership practice with Dr. Brisson.
He has a special interest in Optometric management of learning related vision problems in children besides general Optometry. He is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists
He has two twin children, a boy and a girl named Adam and Samina. They were born in 1996.

Dr. Salima Parpia
Dr. Salima Parpia began her education at the University of Waterloo completing her Bachelor of Science in 2002. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts graduating from The New England College of Optometry in 2006. Dr. Salima Parpia has trained in multi-disciplinary community based health centres in Boston. This gave her a wealth of experience in primary and urgent care, as well as ocular diseases and paediatrics. At the Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston, Dr. Parpia also received training in co-management of Cataract, Glaucoma, and Macular Degeneration patients, where she provided consultation services in refraction and contact lenses. Dr. Parpia has been in private practice since 2006 and has been part of our team in Port Hope since 2009.
Dr. Salima Parpia is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. She has two daughters named Raya and Karissa.
